Janet will outline the ins and outs of being a part of race committee and upcoming training. Being on the Race Committee is not for everyone, and we have lost many good RC to racing...but many members come out every week to assist. Experience not needed. Training is available and there are many opportunities at JPYC as well as other CASRA Clubs. RC is a wonderful way to get on the water and enjoy racing from a totally different perspective!
Janet Hansen is the Immediate Past Commodore of JPYC and has been a US Sailing Certified Race Officer since 2010, Janet has trained many race committee members, and is eager to train more.
